When you hike on a trail that the trail is very narrow, a group of no-mask people walk toward your direction. You cannot move to the side 6 feet away. What will you do?

nothing as I don't wear one unless its required as with some stores and restaurants.
If one is in a high risk group, it might be prudent for "them" to wear a mask protecting
themselves from others according to their risk tolerance.
For those in low risk groups, it might be hard for them to understand why they should wear them
when they'er as far as they know are not infected....
as to 6ft....there are other studies suggesting the distance is either much greater or less than 6ft.
might want to check on it.

So your low risk/high risk argument doesn't really hold. Similarly, COVID is contagious prior to symptoms being present. That's kind of part and parcel of what makes a "pandemic" go.

The most compassionate approach that balances the risks and benefits of reaching herd immunity, is to allow those who are at minimal risk of death to live their lives normally to build up immunity to the virus through natural infection, while better protecting those who are at highest risk. We call this Focused Protection.

My wife just bought me a face shield. From now on, I will have both face mask and face shield on at the same time.
A survey conducted by over a dozen medical institutions for the CDC and published in Sept. 11's Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report showed that 85% of those who contracted COVID-19 during July among the study group either "always" or "often" wore face coverings within the 14 days before they were infected. More than 70% of those outpatient individuals who tested positive reported always wearing masks. Just 3.9% reported never wearing a mask.
