- Loose your shoulder. - Move shoulders forward. - Your back is bending like a curve.
Is this kind of posture healthy? Your thought?

Follow the energy explanation only.
It’s the same with the palms or “bubbling wells”. A little concavity.
Ignore any other garbage. Anybody saying be a hunchback. Just NVM.

I’m sure that if we just changed it to ‘soften the chest’ all this debate would go away.

Not "bend" back. It shoud be "raise" the back. The expression Han xiong ba bei is found in very old documents with Daoist practice and the original meaning is just exactly the opposite of how it's usually understood today.
What is meant is not a stationary posture. It's about spine movement and using the back, putting this area into action, learning how to draw strength from the spine and from the back. If you just relax the chest and back in a fixed, relaxed posture, you'll just turn your Tai Chi into bad Qigong. Instead you should learn to activate the back and spine, learn how to use it.
will take that any day of the week. better than the 99.999999% of bad tai chi.

I don't speak Chinese but what I try to work on is "sink the chest, raise the back" which is a bit different.

Fedor seems to have "hollowed his chest" and had some of the best takedowns and counter takedowns ever. I'm sure he never studied IMA or qigong, but there is something to his non-chest-puffed posture. I'm sure we could try to analyze it.

- Move shoulders forward. - Your back is bending like a curve
It squeezes the lung all the time. How can it be healthy?

The shoulder belt is used to pull your shoulder backward. It can correct the forward bending body posture which is the opposite of the move shoulders forward and curve the back.

Getting KO'd is not good for your health. Which "posture" do you suggest for martial arts/self defense?
Henry Cejudo Olympic gold medalist in wrestling and UFC champion, "I have a nice rounded back for wrestling. ... Now, bring this stuff up. I still have that nice little curve, rounded back."

Cejudo is a beast. I wish he hadn't retired, but he walks away at the top of his game with his brain still functioning. Wise move.
