Have been listening to the Neijiaquan Podcast recently, which is a neat podcast series by Jess O'Brien (who I think is a member here). One of the episodes which stood out is the one on Bob Tangora and his CMC taiji teacher, Tok Seng Gim:

https://player.fm/series/the-neijiaquan-podcast/ep-21-the-neijiaquan-podcast-episode-21-the-late-robert-tangora-and-cloud-hands

https://player.fm/series/the-neijiaquan-podcast/ep-22-the-neijiaquan-podcast-episode-22-tok-seng-gim-robert-tangora-and-cloud-hands

One thing they mention is that Bob was able to launch people with a Bengquan-type technique but when asked said he was using pure taiji.

As I am not a taiji guy, wanted to ask taiji-ers which taiji technique(s) could be used in a similar way to xingyi Beng?

I reacted to that as well. William Chen used his iron body skills in Sanda matches and claims that it helped him to win tournaments. When someone punched at his body, he punched at his head.

Quite so. With the possible exception of a very powerful and properly timed liver or spleen shot, most body blows won't put a well conditioned fighter down or out, but a powerful head shot precisely landed on the center of the chin, the angle of the jaw, or the temple with superior speed certainly will. Thus, if trading blows is unavoidable, sacrificing a body shot in exchange for any of those head shots is a good trade.

Wayne,

You can go to the youtube version and then click on the three dots above the Subscribe button to open the transcript, and then copy and paste from there.

It's auto-generated, so some terms are likely to be weird, and it's not as nicely formatted as an actual transcript, but it may at least work as a casual reference for you.

An alternative is to download episode 22 and "Upload Audio File" at this free website. However, it only transcribes while you listen.

Instructions start at 1:06:

While transcribing episode 22 at Speech to Text (check box "Detect multiple speakers" for better formatting), I got an error message like "out of memory."

So, I split the MP3 file into 4 tracks (you may try less) by downloading free mp3DirectCut (fosshub.com button) and using these instructions, which then transcribed fine.
