Nevermind your push hand skills and your internal cultivation. How would your kungfu defend against and counter these hook and uppercut combinations?

When he punched me in the face I would simply absorb the energy in my dantien and issue it back out through my spine into Tysons body, knocking him back three meters and ending the fight instantly. Give me my twelve million dollar paycheck.

Hahaha! I hate to burst your bubble, but let's keep it real. Most of that money would be initially lost to taxes, and whatever remained would be eaten up in emergency medical expenses, followed by your funeral expenses. Lol :o

It's a clear, systematic approach. They knew it was coming. Yeah, it may be possible to neutralize him; the problem in that context is stopping him from hitting you for a few minutes. With MT, running away is a better tactic, if possible?

Otoh, forget Tyson; stick with the cross to the body and upper cut combo thrown by an average person. Notice that if you trust your overhand right, the opponent can leave himself open for it. The uppercut is set up by the body shot.

Buster Douglas beat Tyson with footwork, not allowing a lot of body shots. Douglas also had a good right, and eventually knocked Tyson out.

Fold the rear kua (lu) while blocking with hand covering head. Then, issue (fa) uppercut (ji):

I'd go to John Chang and learn how to shoot powerful energy blasts out of my hands. Mike won't get anywhere near.

Actually nevermind, John Chang is no longer with us. I'd tell Mike I love his pigeons and hope it calms him long enough for me to run away.

I would say "Excuse me, sir. I made a wrong term" and walk in the opposite direction.

Looking at the dynamics of the scenario, I would not look for incidents to make a point. Looking for trouble incites trouble despite having my 9mm at my side. ;D

Ok, these are going to sound obvious but...

1st, as the saying goes "never try to outbox a boxer"

2nd, who's gonna just stand in front of Mike Tyson and let him TEE OFF.

3rd, don't know how many Leg Kicks Mike was used to receiving during his sparring but I say bash away if your allowing it.

4th, if you can't stand with him... do your best to take him down. Off his feet he won't be able to punch you as he has been training.

... OH you don't want that?

Ok, i'll just wait till he punches me, then I'll magically yield to his offensive energy and then set him up for an explosive "Parting Wild horses Mane". That'll fix em. ;D

.....

Seriously, nobody should even try to fight unless they at least have enough "Offensive Methods" of some sorts that can actually hurt someone. (meaning serious striking power or scary grappling / locking skills). Otherwise, you won't even get any respect.

When your opponent throws a hook punch at you, his body is rotating. You can borrow his rotating force, rotate with him, and

- Wrap your opponent's hook punching arm.
- Use stealing step to spin your body.
- Apply head lock (or under hook) with leg block to take him down.
