When done correctly everything is noi gung
Zhang is amazing

Do you have any film of him as a young man
This set of exercises is not what I would call noi gung
More like basic warm ups

Just drifting through and ran into them - the 16 exercises I do are sometimes close to what I have learned in the baji stuff - and some I learned in the late 1980s from a guy I met at Jou Tsung Hwa's Tai Chi Farm and Bisio's On-line material pulled it together for me - the 16 exercises have been very useful for me in my old(er) age, LOL

Grandmaster Zhang Baoyang(*1922), top disciple of great grandmaster Wang Jiwu (*1891✝1991) in age 87 practice the "Advancing and retreating linked fist"(进退连环拳), Zhang Baoyang is one of last living grandmaster in his generation. Besides the following his master Wang Jiwu, he also learned with his gong-fu uncle "iron luohan" Zhang Xiangzhai (张祥斋) also known as Zhang Changfa( 张长发), who was disciple of Liu Dianchen(刘殿琛), buddhist monk and son of Liu Qilan(刘奇兰). Grandmaster Zhang Baoyang is founder and honorary president of Beijing Xing Yi Quan association and living legend of Chinese martial arts.Lineage: Shaolin(少林寺)-Ji Longfeng(姬龙峰)-Cao Jiwu(曹继武)-Dai Longbang(戴龙邦)-Li Luoneng(李洛能)-Liu Qilan(刘奇兰)-Wang Fuyuan(王福元)-Wang Jiwu(王继武)-Zhang Baoyang(张宝杨). If anyone is looking for something truly excellent for Xingyi or Bagua Neigong I can wholeheartedly recommend Alex Kozma's Chinese Internal Fighting Arts Stage 1. It's basically like someone expanded on a lot of the concepts of the Neigong I learned in person. Also, there is a lot in there similar to Yiquan and includes an old school version of Xingyi zhan zhuang that is almost like someone broke down the Seeking Moon at Sea Bottom exercise into 8 pieces.
