Talking Fist Podcast - Interview with Bernard Kwan

Am a big fan of Ryan St George's Talking Fists Podcast and he has put out another v interesting interview with Bernard Kwan, a HK-based taiji and baguazhang teacher:

https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/talking-fists-s2-e4-bernard-kwan-bagua-zhang-aikido/id1475424111?i=1000588244708

This was a really wide-ranging discussion covering everything from Bernard's early MA experiences in Aikido, to his study of baguazhang with respected teachers such as He Jinghan (Yin style) in Taiwan and CS Tang in HK (Gao style), but also touches on Bernard's Daoist meditation (neidan) studies and even Western philosophy.

For full disclosure, FWIW I know Bernard personally and have always found him an approachable guy always willing to help people out on the path.

Awesome to hear about this branch of the art. Unfortunately Michael Guen's weird students seem to dominate the discussion of that side.

Tang has VCDs you can purchase. I've seen his Baguazhang material - interesting stuff.
