Ken Gullete posted, "I was very sorry to hear this week that Grandmaster Wang Xian, one of the "Four Tigers" of Chen Taiji has passed away. He was born in 1944. My condolences to his family and students."

I didn't know him personally, and I was not involved with his school, or students. I know him primarily since he is a well-known teacher of Chen style. However, I think it is important to acknowledge his life and achievements. The fact is that he remains an inspiration to me on some level, and this is another stone added to the camels back for me.

I found a blog post about it.

Thank you for posting it. I somehow wasn't ready to post it outside my personal channels.
