yes.

Sometimes it is good to explain everything in detail to the students. Other times, it is good to be terse on purpose so their mind works to figure out the meaning of the phrase. This is one reason why certain books are read more and more: with each reading the reader discovers something new in the book, something new about the world and something new about him/herself.

We all learn in different manners and even for the same person, we benefit from different approaches of the same subject. Now, if as a teacher you are good at a certain style of teaching only, IMO, you should stick to it and only deviate from it as needed, on a case by case basis. There is no preset formula, everything depends on the context. Flow with the go! ;)

Rob2, that´s so true it´s very deep. But, and I ask this as a stumbling neophyte, ashamed of my lack of knowledge, hardly daring to ask, what if they are wearing contact lenses and the mirrors are on the inside of them?

Fractal vision? If I saw my opponent, then several smaller versions of himself protruding from the main body, then several smaller version of himself protruding from those smaller version, etc., I think I'd freak out and run away. Or would I see that as LOTS of great targets...

So, with the right training, I can actually learn to see fractals with the bare eye! Wow! The things you can learn to do. I should have started doing this IMA-lark earlier, say when I was in pre-school.

I have learned from one or two words before but only when the teacher used them at the right time. For example, maybe I was not getting a concept, but then in the middle of push hands or sparring the teacher used one or two words and I reacted without hesitation or over-thinking, and suddenly I understood (both conceptually and in a practical, yes I can use it sort of way). So yes I can learn from one or two words but only thanks to the right words at the right time, either because the teacher is good or because of serendipity

Well, obviously, this is not meant to be taken literally. It refers to any manufacturers of dairy products.

I am already stocking my freezer with the new flavours from Haichuan&Luchan (already world-famous for their Rocky Bengquan, Pink Mist Insight, Chunky KO, Half Baked Beijing 24, EF Strawberry Delight, and those difficult to find golden oldies like Xinjia Garcia and New York Super Fudge Lineage Holder).

Why can´t people tell me these things early, so I don´t have to waste time looking?

Here's a couple.

1. What is slow?.....

2. Is a rock alive?......

(If you figure out the second one, you also answer #1, AND you win a cupie doll! ;D

No cheating, you can't ask any rocks!

in frankie's case, the depth is in regards to the anus.

You see how even poorly plain old non-exotic Western words have many meanings.... :-)
