Early Wu Style Book by Ma Yueh Liang?

Title page has Ma Yueh Liang's name on it and a co writer is Mr Chen Cheng Ming.

Says date published is Ming Kuo 24 year Summer,

Ming Guo24 year is 1935 in Western Calendar I think ?

Anyone ever heard of this book before? Is the real thing?

I had read that Wu Chien-ch'uan, Wang Mao-zhai and Guo Fen wrote a book about Wu Style in 1929 in Tina Chunna Zhang and Frank Allen's book on Northern Wu Style.

Also Wu Gong Zhao's book on Wu Style from 1935. I had not heard the Ma wrote a Wu Style Book around this time..

I will ask/show my own teacher but thought other Wu Stylists migt be interested or know about it.

MASTER MA SHOWED ME THIS BOOK IN EARLY 1990S AT HIS HOME . THERE IS ANOTHER BOOK PUBLISHED IN 1929 WITH 63 WU JIAN QUAN'S OWN PHOTOES ,WRITTEN BY CHU MINGYI AS WELL.

I also wanted to chime in with my thanks. I believe someone else had posted a link to that site before, but I hadn't gone through it to find what might be interesting to download.

It's great to finally see pics of Ma when he was a young (well...at least much younger...) man. It's also great to finally see where the pics of Wu Jianquan came from as I'd previously only seen as them as appendices in other books.

I asked my teacher about this book yesterday.

She knew about it and has a copy.

I have the Orange Wu Style Book by Ma and Wu Ying Hua but had no idea about this one.

It is good to see Ma doing the postures when young ( 34/35 years old is young right?)
