1. Thank you for the vote.
2. Qian Zhaohong, Yang Hai (both of whom I know first hand are impressive fighters), Lin Fuzhu (White Crane in Taiwan), Shan Changwwen and plenty of others have both great internal and fighting skill - but their skills are seldom shown (or understood) in the West.
3. Cerebus is a hermaphrodite aardvark with a thing for Red Sonya.
4. Yo moma so fat that someone told her it was chilly outside and she ran out with a bowl. Yo momma so fat that when she hauls ass, it takes two trips.....

The hell-hound is Cerberus.
Cerebus is an anime character.

And, yo momma so fat, when she backs up she goes "Beep-beep-beep-beep-beep..."

Has anyone here trained with Vincent Chu or Gin Soon in Boston? I heard these Yang guys are very good. I was even warned that if you haven't yet learned to sink into their root through softness, it will be a tough experience.

Are you serious? I mean really?

True as far as it goes but... Cerebus is also a lesser-known, but correct varient of "Cerberus". See what ya learn from reading all kinds of weird, obscure Occult books... ;)

In case this thread isn't totally derailed :)

How does CK Chu stack up?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UWWYliy3 ... re=related

Or Mike Patterson?

Never met either but they seem to have good records as trainers.

Matthew.

I'm with Gregorz man.

Folks should be proppin' their own teacher. Otherwise, what are you doing? Now maybe you just hooked up with the best guy in your area and have a family or other priorities so relocating your whole life to train with someone is not practical but for me...

Never met anyone in his class other than maybe Sam Chin who I met in Xi'an a couple years back and, of course, YC Wong who I trained with for about 7 or 8 years.

Master Li ("Shifu" to me. :) ) has no youtube presence to speak of. He's fairly conservative and does not allow any of "the good stuff" to be videoed but damn....he's fucking got "it". 67 years old and scary. My only "complaint" is that he won't go more public.

tomasz's tongbeiquan teacher in beijing is pretty amazing, his name's Li something I think. Sam Tam is also very good.

In Shanghai there are several excellent teachers of Wu style taiji and xinyiliuhe that I know of.

Like Omar says about his teacher, the best internal guys I've ever felt in Taiwan are, with a few exceptions, masters who have zero interest in publicity, teach no more than a handful of students (or don't teach at all), hate to be photographed or videotapped, and do not like to be called masters. All they care about is how to make their high-level skills even better.
