Kevin beat me to it but, I'd like to know : how do you guide your students through the development of the different shenfa of the 3 arts concurrently?

Thanks for your time.

Aaaah Mix! I knew you would appreciate it best! :P

It was meant to be sarcastic, but yeah, I concede, I'm still pretty sleepy right now to write meaningful stuff ;) .

i pray these are not silly.

what does he consider the basics for each system (ie stance work, qi gong, drills, etc)? does he feel one should master the basics before moving to any advanced sets?

How did he find the transition from China to Canada? Was it easy to get established in Montreal? Martial arts are known not to be an easy domain to make a living in, at least here, in the West. What is the secret of his success?

PS:
It would be interesting to hear his story of how he arrived in Canada and managed to get where he is now. Any particular hardships that he had to overcome?

Thank you!

Should one start with HsingI, then move on to Bagua, and finish in Taiji? If so, what is the reason for this process?
What is his understanding of the use/application of "rooting"?
Being in Canada, with a wide variety of MA practiced, how does he think traditional CMA stack up against the various MMA and "street self-defense systems" in terms of combative efficacy?

In behalf of Mr Yang, Mix and all the other students, we thank you for your series of questions. The interview is in "production" and that it will be online anytime soon!

I got to see parts of the interview yesterday afternoon and I have to say that its very nicely done.
Hopefully it will be up soon.
There is roughly an hour and a half of interview, so it will need to be broken up into sections. :)

Mr. Yang was on a roll. We did it one take, no breaks, except when we had to switch tapes! Yeah, it will have to broken into separates files to upload, plus I think he will possibly edit stuff out.
