Chen Style in Shanghai

Postby nicklinjm on Mon Jul 23, 2012 8:46 pm

Can anyone on the board recommend a good teacher of Chen style taiji in Shanghai? Obviously people like Chen Zhaokui and Gu Liuxin lived and taught here, so there should be a bunch of teachers still around, but am having trouble finding anyone. Not fussed about 'branch' of Chen style either, if that helps.

Good chances to get to know Taiji people is the 'push hands corner' each first Saturday of the month which takes place at Peoples Park, close to then pond and marriage fair. Sometimes a seemingly very good Chen teacher shows up there and quite a few Chen students can be found which can give you further directions.
