Also not my cup of tea. I don't like the Yin Bagua very much.

Thanks for the suggestions.

Ok, so you want to learn IMA in the UK, which cuts down your possibilities of finding a teacher massively, then you specify they must teach in Oxford, which again cuts down your choice incredibly massively, then you don't like and reject two of the people suggested.... Man - you're setting yourself up for a big disapointment in life ;D

Good luck!

I didn't specify that they must teach in Oxford. I am a student and I work so I wanted to ask if anyone had any recommendations NEAR oxford so that I might save myself from going to every class in the area trying to find something that works for me.

I don't agree that looking for something that feels right is setting myself up for disappointment. I have trained with both of the people suggested and I simply said "not my cup of tea" because both really didn't work for me. I only commented on the two recommendations made in case someone might have some other recommendations. I hope I didn't seem ungrateful and I do appreciate the recommendations made.

Don't worry, I wasn't being serious. I hope you find what you're looking for.

oxfords quite a trek from me too ... n i aint taking students anymore ... so out of luck here too im afraid.

Gotta say that Paul Alexander is proabably your best bet if you want some authentic traditional IMA's in Oxford. I know his stuff can seem a little strange at first if your not used to his sort of training, but he has some excellent knowledge and skills now.

cheers

Hi flyingguillotine

Just saw this thread...
I have not taught a class in Oxford for a long time - so I am not sure if I could have taught you...

regards,
Paul
