I believe Jamie Oliver can serve plates with both hands and twist about too!

Hey Rob,

Are you planning to get into some of the Bagua?

Hi Rob,

Great, I hope you manage to find someone good to train with. I can't think of anyone in Essex, but the London Gao style people may be able to help with your search. http://palmchange.com/

I've been training Fu style bagua with a couple of teachers in Hong Kong since 2001. I love it. I feel it's a wonderful compliment to the other MA I train or have trained.

Seems this thread has caused a bit of confusion :-) had some people contact me - it isn't me. Not that I have anything against Bagua - or Essex come to that!

cheers

This just in on the wires:

NEWSFLASH

The UK's Senior Systema Representative Mr Rob Poyton has decided to drop the Russian Martial Art and return to his Chinese roots by taking up the art of BaguaZhang. "It will help in my new career as a waiter", said the former Eastern Block sympathiser. "I need something that can help me juggle 6 plates at once, while moving through a busy restaurant". When questioned on whether he now believes in Qi Mr Poynton would only wink slyly and say. "Qi sells, that's all I'm saying". More news as it arrives.
