Bok Le Po is pretty good. Occasionally they get 9 ft long staffs. As for jian, I haven't found any good sources in New York City.
But this place in New Jersey (~30 minutes from Princeton) http://www.itg8.com/ had a pretty descent selection of swords.
Example:
The chain ring should not be in the center of the handle, but otherwise pretty nice.
And I like this two-handed wooden sword:

As mentioned earlier, try Bok Lei Po Trading Company, 63A Mott St, in Chinatown, http://www.bokleipo.com. I had good luck with them in the past and they had a better stock than BLT on Mulberry, just around the corner. I called ahead of time and they were good at telling what they had on hand.
