I wont be able to make this due to acupuncture school, but he sounds very experienced and something I would try to join. From Joanne Chen mailing list:

Dear Tai Chi Friends;

"Taiji has no specific path-
We're all going the way we believe to be the right way.
An attentive mind is the only map needed for this journey"... David C. Chen

David Chen had a long list of friends in the international Tai Chi community. He was always eager to explore and celebrate the commonalities found in the different schools of Tai Chi, at the same time, understanding and respecting the many differences.

With this in mind, the David C. Chen Foundation and the Wu Wei Tai Chi School are offering a new recurring Tai Chi Workshop event. With each event, we plan to invite a different well qualified presenter from various lineages, to share their 'secrets' and understanding with our Community in a workshop format. Our first guest presenter is from Taiwan.

Mr. Wu Rong-hui will be offering a Tai Chi workshop examining the Tai Chi Form and Push-hands on October 25 & 26, 2014

1. The workshop will include:
a. 12 Tendon stretching exercises
b. Nine Pearl's (joint) training for integration
c. Form applications to further our understanding
d. Push-hands drills to improve sensitivity
e. Finding Ten principles within our practice
f. Using 5 Stepping Method
g. Cheng man Ching's Hand method
h. 8 Natural Movements Method for neutralization and discharging
i. Discussion of the Tai Chi classics to help understand the place of the Tao within our practice.

Wu Rong-hui has been practicing Tai Chi Chuan since 1986. He was the senior student and is the lineage holder of Master Soong Zhi-jian, who was himself one of Professor Cheng man-Ch'ing's top students. Mr Wu has won over 20 gold medals in international competition. He was the reigning push-hands champion in Taiwan for 11 years. Even though he is still a young man by Tai Chi standards, Mr. Wu is has retired from competition, and now serves as the head referee for the National Tai Chi Chuan Assoc. in Taiwan.

Along with studying Tai Chi with Master Soong, Mr.Wu holds a Masters degree in Physical Education with special emphasis on Tai Chi Chuan. He is an energetic and well organized presenter. His knowledge and understanding of Tai Chi Chuan is extensive.

Mr. Wu offers regular Tai Chi classes in Taipei as well as holding numerous workshops throughout Asia and Europe.

For those who attend the workshop, there will be an optional follow-up program the
following weekend for students to explore the concepts more deeply and ask questions to improve their understanding.
