Austin Quarterly Texas Meetup

Every quarter one city in Texas plays host to taijiquan players from across the state. This August it will be Austin. Specifically Pease Park on August 25th at Noon.

From the event page:

Taijiquan meetup for Tui Shou, Da Shou, and light San Shou.

This is part of the Texas quarterly meetup. We have San Antonio, Austin, Dallas, El Paso, and Houston involved.

The idea is to create a sage environment for sharing. We meet up, decide what we are going to do, and remain respectful. Invest in loss, learn, and don't bully your opponent. If they are less skilled, teach.

October 2018 - San Antonio

This is a group intended to harbour a sense of community among martial artists in Texas.
We are meeting up and agreeing to work on push hands, da shou, or light sparring. We are agreeing on rules and leaving our egos at the door.
Martial artists of other styles are welcome as well.

I'm the slightly chubby guy with the bandana on my head, and Mike Graves is the shorter black guy with all the muscles.
