Anyone know any context here? It is billed as a challenge between two ba gua people. One a 'hobbyist' and one a 'teacher'.

Skipped through it - it's a clip of two men almost fighting, but just staying out of range until the end when they go full-on playground scrap.
Meh

I’d say hobbyist won(narrowly) and is now BGZ undisputed world champion

Sure is Meh! The 'fighting' was horific but I was wondering if it is Ba gua according to the video description. Was referenced as such in another video i watched.

I think everyone who has watched the video can agree that from the actual 30 seconds or so of fighting, a neutral onlooker would find it hard to tell either man had studied fighting / combat before.
The 'bagua' master is supposed to be called You Yuyi and come from Wang Zhuangfei's Shanghai branch of Yin style, whilst the other guy is described as a bagua enthusiast from Nanjing. Regardless of their background, both come off terribly from this video, and I think Wang's branch would be embarrassed to be associated with a joker like You.

The “imperial” BGZ has nothing to lose since the emperors & empresses are long gone… Even so the red shirt guy can safely continue to “brawl” with the imperials
