Because if I tap your name, I see your profile. If I tap Robs name, I see his profile. If I tap Marvin’s name I see that the user doesn’t exist.

That and the PM he sent me about getting banned…

He PMd you although he is banned?

He PMd me that he had a ban warning dude to complaints … now his profile doesn’t exist. How should I be reading this?

Marvin is hardly a victim of unfair discrimination here. ::)

He was asked several times by other board members to post a video of himself, rather than videos of other people, supporting his incessant criticism of Rob's video.

He was unwilling and/or unable to do so, but was also unwilling to cease and desist in his repeated criticism, so it essentially comes down to "you order and you pay!"

If he didn't leave by his own decision, he has only himself to blame, imo. -shrug-

Interesting!
I'm just a curious George.

But, Does "ban warning" now Mean Temporary Ban?

Not saying Liokault is incorrect in assuming Marvin was banned
But, because other possibilities exist
I wonder

Like, It is possible Marvin didn't like the the "warning" so he resigned from RSF
Or, didn't Marvin didn't like the way he was being treated by others, so he took leave.

Not saying that is what happened
Again, just wondering what a "ban warning" means on RSF in 2023?

There’s a rumour I'm hearing that Elon Musk is going to buy RSF and unban everybody...

I don't know how it works here, I've never complained about someone or received a warning myself. Maybe an Admin can clarify. I mean, all his posts are still there. As I said, I stopped responding when he said he didn't teach or train.

I used to worry about that a lot, but the focus on self-defense aspect of my training has, over the last few years, been almost completely replaced with the focus on not getting hurt (while still giving sparring partners something to work with); I'm just happy to be able to show up for regular classes and still be less out-of-breath than many of those aforementioned younger stronger guys. :)
Totally different priorities now

Yep, I can get what both you and Graham say, and on a -personal level I agree. But when teaching, particularly my people who work door, etc, they need to be "tested." Maybe not the experienced ones so much, but then again we all need a test every now and then.

Well if you have students that are active bouncers, and they're happy with your stuff, that's quite the good sign, no?

Right; teaching is different for sure... Responsibility and all that.
So happy I don't need to worry about that . :)

That's not really what I was asking and validation was not the issue, but thanks. It's not "my stuff" as such though, I just pass it on.

You pass on your version and understanding of it, your interpretation, always, imo. You can have 2 teachers trying to teach the exact same material and arrive at very different outcomes, I've observed.

Also, I knew you weren't asking for validation in your post. Gave it to you anyway. Enjoy :-)
