Hello,
I have been enjoying the material in all forms at Empty Flower for some time now.
I am here basically to learn from others, and my eyes have been opened many
times. I appreciate the knowledge that is shared on this forum.
So now I see a chance to give back something to the people here.
If this is not the proper place to post this information, please remove it.
I have ordered material from the performer in this video (Sun Anguang, Peaceful Light
taichi academy of los angeles.),
and I would like to warm people about this guy. He will take your money, but will not send the material.
At first he said he had problems with shipping the material, but would send the stuff soon.
He was all very nice about it, saying he really valued his customers, etc etc but never sent the stuff.
Then he stopped all contact with me. I sent many e-mails asking what was the status of my order, but got no reply.
I sent him a fax thinking maybe he also had problems with his e-mail...no reply.
I also sent him a message to his YouTube e-mail, to see if this would work, no reply.
So I give up and accept that I have been had by this dishonest person.
Please dont take this message as an attack on this guy, that is not my intention,
I figure what goes around comes around, so he will end up paying for his dishonest actions.
My aim is simply to warn others of his deallings.

But this also made me think that this could be a new section on EmptyFlower.
A section where people can talk about the places you can order from, that give you good service
and also a place where people can be warned against dishonest merchants.
I am well aware that any company can have problems from time to time, but in the end things are taken care of.
So if only one person has problems from a dealer and everyone else has good service
then of course this has to be taken has a unfortunate incident and nothing more.
Anyway I thought I would make the suggestion, hoping to benefit everyone here at EmptyFlower.

next time i am in L.A. visiting my sister i'll look him up and see if i can get those videos for you. I competed against him in a taiji tournament a few years back. I'll see what i can do. not sure when i'll be in L.A. next but i go often.

But don't go out of your way, like I said I already wrote it off as a loss.
If you think it would help to have a copy of my order, with the
order number and catalog numbers of the items, I can e-mail them to you.
Even if you cannot manage to get the DVD's, I really appreciate the gesture!

You should file a complaint with the State Attorney General of the Consumer Division. Although it varies from state to state, they usually will investigate the individual and attempt to bring about a solution.

Also, see what the Better Business Bureau offers with regard to solutions.

If sent money and did not receive any goods or services and others also have had that problem and he uses the federal mail system, then fraud might also be worth looking into.

On the other hand, maybe something was lost in the process and its just a matter of clearing up a misunderstanding.

Thanks for the suggestion Bob, but in all honesty, I don't feel this is something
I want to invest a lot of effort in.
I am not a fatalist by all means...if I was living out in LA, I certainly would take the time
to try and contact this person so I could get my material, but I live in Canada and I really
find it's just not worth all the trouble for a couple of DVD's.
And as I mentioned before, I really am not out to get this guy, I'm sure he will get what's
coming to him all by himself,and with no help from me.
My aim was to prevent other people on this forum, from making the same mistake I did!
