Don't particularly care for this one, eh? No problem, LOL, there is enough material around here to fit everyone's taste!

The form, I think, is based on:

I learned the form about 10 years ago but I don't practice it because I haven't got any hookswords nor the time given other martial.

the double hooks were too long for his height.

however, the right postures are important, so he demo them slowly.

also be careful that hooks did not hit the ground.

It is difficult to practice.

but the main things are 2 hands have to be well coordinated, especially, when both hands moves are different.

shuang gou or double hooks are long weapon and may be used to hook and neutralize long weapons, such as straight sword, long spear, staff etc,

deer horns are short weapon.

the whole name for deer horns is

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cDwvLFgd ... re=related

1. the center is called eye of the pheonix with no blades where you hold.

2. there are 9 blades.

deer horn, fish tail, snake body, bear back, pheonix eye, 4 points and 9 blades, 13 sharps.

Wow, what a long name for a short weapon.

Since this form is Yin Shao with hook swords and was posted by Adam Hsu at youtube, I'll go out on a limb and say yes it's wu tang related. ;)

The last one isn't hook swords, although they look outwardly similar...
