Yes, it is very interesting that he "incorporated" both Ji "style" and GM Liu teachings.

SPJ:

I am a bit confused---how did Li Shu Wen have a son or grandson? Adopted? Almost 101% certain he did not have any children. Many of the early wu tan baji practitioners were a bit concerned about practicing baji and becoming sterile, since both Li Shu Wen and Liu Yun Qiao did not have any children. However, much to their relief, I guess, in the 1990s before Liu visited the mainland, he revealed that he had a son and daughter by his first wife [old custom, I guess, 2 wives]. It was my understanding that Liu's son had died earlier and his daughter lived in Beijing.

Oh yeah, regardless of the kin standing, I hope you don't mind if I post the Li Shu Wen grandson clip---it is a very interesting clip and provides an interesting link between Li Shu Wen's latter version via Liu Yun Qiao and the others within the Li Shu Wen line.

Yes. I also heard that if we land our feet too heavy all the time, we would get hernia.

I think there are some truths in them.

if we stomp our feet all the time, the counter energy/power/force from the ground would go to our tail bone area first, which is very close to our groin area.

meaning we are severely hitting or punishing our groin area, over time, we may become sterile or herniating stuff into the scrotum.

so how to practice "soft" landing would be very important, especially at young age.

just some thoughts.
