Sorry Shawn,
You guys are usually on top of this - I liked the historical context. It looks like it was filmed a little after the cultural Revolution was ended - before government Wushu became so prevalent.

The video is under the youtube account of a Mantis master in Hong Kong, and I believe it's taken from a CMA demo there in the 70s.

The Mantis teacher in Hong Kong is Alex Tse, Seven Star and Tai Chi Mantis, he is very good indeed, not only is his skill very good, but his collections of old manuals, film footage and rare antique weapons in extensive
