Nice one, for me this is one of the problems in China, in their quest for glory (olympic and other aspects) the PRC neglects the traditional (or folk arts as my teacher calls them). If it doesn't bring money into China they don't care or don't invest in them. Apart from taiji...wait taiji brings in a lot of cash to Chenjiagou.
I've said it before and i'll say it again China is a counrty of contradictions, this is a further example, them promote China's cultural heritage if it brings in money and at the same time neglect the areas that don't.
I hope they can make the wushu guan a big success.
