Nice HsingI and some Bagua on the tree

Postby Andy_S on Sat Sep 06, 2008 1:04 pm

Like the look of his HsingI - though not an orthodoz rendition, esp the pichuan I think..? With the bagua tree training he seems to leave himself wide open upstairs but the stepping is sweet.

Very nice. I like his foot work around those trees.

David Burnham? Sure, we periodically meet to push, flow drill and generally play around. Dave's a good egg and has just moved back to Seoul, so will probably meet him sometime this month. Where do you know him from? Uncle Bill?

First off, don't kill me:

second: I personally don't like the flavour of his xingyi and bagua. I believe it is very likely that he studied extensively in a Southern style (which are very good in their own right) and can't get the Southern Shen fa out of his system, thus his xingyi and bagua end out "Southified".
Dislcaimer: That is just my opinion, don't kill me. :P ;D

Hey Mix, pardon my ignorance, but what does "Southified" mean?
