These are from the demonstrations at Tony Yang's tournament. I heard the tournament was a success for its Las Vegas, inaugural last month. I heard the cost of running the fighting events in Vegas are steep, but he will add them next year. So, it sounds like it will continue to be held there.

Thanks for posting SPJ. Got any more tournament clips or news Bob?

Hello Count, yeah, I consider myself in semi-retirement altough I am usually at the school 2 days a week. "Leaving the world with no tracks" is a very tempting option. LOL

I heard they will have the tournament in Las Vegas for at least two more years. There is another tournament going to be held in Ohio---October 4th:

I won't be in attendance because of a prior university commitment. We are also getting a Confucius Institute at the University and I suspect that may eat up a lot of my time in October/November.

How about you? Any good news? My wife was in Chicago, near Midway and Airport area, for a trade show---enjoyed the food there. Of course I stayed home. LOL

Later.

Midway airport is kind of a foul part of Chicago. Guess they brought the good food in. ;)

Well that is good to know. LOL We used to take our Executive MBA students to Chicago for 4 or 5 days and we always stayed in the Midway area--of course we took the transit into the center of the city. I've had some really good portuguese food and love Chicago---China town was nice and I enjoyed my stay there---we did it about 3 times.

I think my wife flew into Midway but stayed in the Center---where the trade show was at.

How do you feel about moving from LA to Chicago? Back to the old winters!
