Very rare old footage of fighting Tai Chi Master, and teacher of Dan Docherty, Cheng Tin Hung. Some really nice stuff:

Thanks for posting this. It's very interesting to see him as a younger man. It looks much better than anything else I've seen from them so far.

Cheng is the one who does the form at the beginning, he also feeds one of his students with punches and kicks , wearing a singlet. The other guys are his students.

Terrific - thanks for posting. I remember Dan writing that he was introduced to CTH by the PT instructor of the Royal HK Rozzers, and decided to study under him as (a) he and his students were the only Taiji school with a successful fighting record in HK and regional leitai tournaments and (b) cos his Taiji was "lively and stylish." Both aspects are certainly visible in this clip.

Ha, yea.. I have that dvd. I'm currently learning under Neil Rosiak in London, who put up the clip. If anyone is interested you can get it through his site. His applications dvd (san shou) is also pretty good and well worth a look.

Addy pops up near beginning of clip.
