The combination of (even a light attempt at) a simple leg sweep with a properly-timed attack to the head is way, way underrated. (Or at least "underutilized", in MMA type of events.) This collection is a very nice proof just how well it can work.

Machida is great to watch, so tactical and unassuming. You wouldn't think so to look at him, but his game is serious and it takes real leg power and accuracy to pull off those sweeps.

Wow those were nice. I missed that move of Lyoto's watching the tiny screen youtube clip of Machida vs. Penn. However, I didn't really think Machida deserved a unanimous decision. Anybody else? I remember seeing an AOL blog saying fightmetric gave the fight to Penn (fighting at 155 to Machida's 205). Still, Machida deserves the UFC LHW title shot.
