Actually I think they are cooperating for a video presentation. In the Japanese sense one is "playing" uke. There's no real contesting going on. These guys don't look that good to me. But a half decent taichi guy can be taught to neutralize most throw attempts and counter them. If they had any sense of internal power their strikes, and elbows would be a significant obstacle as well. More fun would be showing them how to deal with more traditional wrestling takedown attempts. I think decent taichi guys could prove to be substantial, and have a whole lot of fun if they played outside the box in more resistive training.
