Cool stuff.

If any here don't believe it... Try the ground... It'l teach you real fast.

And beat the shit out of you in the process.

Good stuff!

is this Kadochinikov jnr in the clip as well as senior? i actually think he moves really really well. There are some other clips of him around and the guy has really solid connection.

Personally i think provided the big wavey stuff is condenced and refined down to small wavey stuff then its all good! :D

as excersise this is nice stuff. Provided it aint to drummed into people so they fall down and go all floppy in application! :p

I hope everyone can recognize the CMA origins in many of these techniques. It seems to answer many questions about groundfighting or lack there of, and emptyhand against gunfighters that I have seen debated in many EF threads. I am truly loving the inner city flavor of the first clip, this is fun stuff to watch and good ideas to train.

Can't say I recognize the CMA origins - at least not anything I previously encountered

cheers

Yes. Arkadiy Kadochnikov.

Totally agree.

I think if you're going to fall and roll (in whatever style), it's good to define when and why.

I like this work because I'm a bit bored with rolling on the ground now.

Picnic benches are also way too much fun :)

right. the first time you try sliding down the stairs, you'll most likely get a nice assortment of bruises. it'll really show you where you're tense.

I think this work is important. a lot of people injure themselves by slipping and falling on stairs. being able to go down softly is a great skill to have.

it can also be pretty scary (like the move in the first clip at 4:00... try it! it's awesome) so you're gonna learn tonnes about yourself and how to move your body, but it's also fun as hell. I just spent an hour going up and down the stairs. :)

it's harder than it looks. :)
