I think I may have found some info, under the heading Master Jian Lin's group, on this page: https://taiji-forum.com/tai-chi-martial-arts-bangkok/

One thing I've noticed about these rare Yang forms of Yang lu chan, Yang ban hou, yang jianhou, and Yang shaohao...they all have way to much extra non-useful movements and are crap forms. No wonder Yang Chenfu cleaned up!

You are right Rhen
It is not so much what they taught is crap but it is what is taught in their name
My Wu style teacher taught a yang shou Hao form that was strong and powerful,it contained things like the double jumping kick
I always think buyer beware when I hear the word old yang
One day the senior student of word famous teacher was at my house and he picked out a book in my collection
He said this is where ....... Got his old form from.
The book was a Japanese book comparing the yang and Chen forms,if you did not read Japanese and just followed the photos it would look like one form.
Most old forms I see are just the YCF form wit extra flourishes added in

It's extremely nice IMHO. Not an inch of fat on it, just a little rushed for the performance.

K, Mark it on your card and submit it to the judges for tally.
I'd love to see yours, too. Always interesting to see perception

A bit hard to comment on it and especially on the quality as it’s done for performance reasons... Seems like a whole lot of stuff taken from different forms. There’s some small frame type of movements and some from “wudang” tai chi. An original Yang Lutang form? Probably not even close.

The "old yang" form is from Chen Taijiquan,
The old chen taijiquan is from wudang Taiji,
the old wudang taiji is from 13 postures,
the old 13 postures come from chang chuan,
chang chuan, comes from Shuai Chiao,
shaui Chiao is the mother. IMO

It's more likely the basic shenfa and external elements of Chen style come from a combination of Shaolin and General Qi Jiguang's 32 methods. Perhaps the so-called internal elements came from Wudang or mysterious taoists or whatever, but there's too much directly similarity to "ordinary" sources to make claims of more esoteric origins probable.

whats more important the claim of where or who the method came from
or what one can actually do with the method.

So far the teacher has only demoed a practice based on
his experience .

Used to go to Lumpini park when I lived in Thailand.
They have a lot of CMA stylist who play in the park.
With varying degrees of skill teaching based on their focus.
Used to go there in the weekends to practice and check out
the CMA teachers...They even a CMA association if memory serves me.

Anyone visiting Thailand, its a nice place to check out, lots of food vendors
and a good number of CMA teachers in the park.
