(Was wondering if some of the traditional baji footwork johnwang mentioned is being used in sparring/fighting and came across these videos. I don't see it:)

Thought it was good, too—showing some baji techniques. Hope they continue to grow the fights.

Was wondering about aikido footwork, too. I came across Spring Sia a professional muay thai fighter with an aikido background. However, I did not see much aikido in her fighting.

Spring Sia started Aikido at the age of 9 at Yoshinkan Aikido Malaysia under Sonny Loke Sensei. In 2007, Spring attained her Shodan certificate and IYAF (currently named AYF, Aikido Yoshinkai Foundation) teaching certificate. In 2009, Spring moved to Melbourne and continued her Aikido journey under Koussoulis Sensei. In 2010, Spring began full time practice at the dojo and attained her Nidan in March 2014 along with her Level 5 Instructor Certificate. Spring Sensei also trains in Muay Thai, Koryu, Boxing, Judo and BJJ.
