Thanks to the Kung Fu Tea blog for finding this great historical footage of the Da Dao from 1932

"Another gem from the Historic Films archive and the Victorian and Edwardian martial arts channel on Youtube. I actually referenced this clip in one of the draft chapters I finished this summer. Between the Dadao drills and those sweater vests its just about the most Guoshu thing ever. Seriously, if you wanted to sum up the national and social discourse on the Chinese martial arts in the early 1930s up in a 20 second clip, this would be it."

Yes Strange, you are right.
I did point it out once, but they had already finalised the video clip.
The video does not aim to be a gold standard but a way to promote people interested in this form.
