IIRC Gu Liuxin was his teacher ...

I have no clue.
But, from my limited understanding, the footage of Ho Chi Minh may be from the late 1940’s and Gu didn’t come until somewhere near 1957.
...

I found the Taiji footage interesting because
Ho Chi Minh is well known historical figure who “wrestled” with the French and American forces.

It’s early footage demo of Taiji apps.

Minh thought Taiji was important enough to train to his soldiers fighting in wars.
