i completely agree. the way dude does it is absurd though. he raises his shoulders as if he wants to have no power in his hands, points his elbow like he wants all his energy continuing in that line and failing entirely to threaten his new coach. he exposes the entire side of his face and his liver like he's spent all these years doing martial arts and never considered such a thing before meeting these mma dudes who, godlike, teach him the secrets of the human body. cause he's an idiot? well, it's plausible, internally consistent etc., but i just don't think it's the case
