Me too. Not a XingYi person myself but I like what I see.

Very interesting flavor and distinct from the Xingyi lineages I've been exposed to. More emphasis on aliveness and hand speed rather than heavy, solid full-body power.

My guess is the 2 gentlemen showing applications belong to the Shanxi school.

This is a common problem in currrent Song Xingyi, hands are too fast.
And also hands shake too much in Piquan~

As a couple of people have guessed, these are guys from a Song style xingyi group in Fenyang in Shanxi province. Some of the ideas about usage are quite nice (especially at one point the guy talks about Single Horse [Dan Ma Xing]), definitely some value in there for other groups.

Shenfa 'flavour' is a little bit different than what I'm used to from Taigu (Song Guanghua, Song Baogui) but still good stuff.

I like the single horse application as well. The angle of the punch is almost like a wide boxing hook, which we don't often see in TCMA.

The guy with glasses gave me a few chuckles. There are always people like him who are eager to prove that their shit is better than yours whenever you go to a martial arts event. ;)

Hand speed and shaking actually don't bother me much, as it is a matter of stylistic difference and personal preference.

IMO, it's only a problem if the hands are unable to connect to the dantian at the moment of impact.
