At last, lhbf sword resurfaced, thought it was lost...Glad to see it...The guy sword seems heavy though, 1.4kg at least. Sorry bit emotional.... ;D

I like the form very much. You can see the typical lhbf shenfa. ;D
Do you know anything more about the form or the Guy doing it ??

is this the Jade River Straight sword form? I would love to learn this form, unfortunately, and due to my western mindset and sporadic commitment to the art, my Teacher retired before I learned any weapons. He always said if you know empty hands weapons are just an extension.
The point . is absolute

No, not Master Cliff Lok.
This clip may be just part of the form, and sequence of form may be altered, a very bad habit of most lhbf demo. There is no point in being so reserved now.

Yu Chuan (Jade river) sword form is one of them, but i heard Qing Long sword being another one. Not sure if they are the same though. :) Oh there is also Da Sheng, Xiao Sheng sword form.

Though weapons are just an extension of hands, it can enhance some understanding of empty hand force, particularly sword. Starting empty hand before weapons gives better foundation.

The sword that I am familiar with from LHBF is the Feng Lei Jian - Wind and Thunder Sword

Not a bad set at all - I liked it allot.
Although some of the stances were a bit long for a trad. sword routine, but never the less great form, one of the better ones out there that I have seen.

why, oh why do folks insist on starting jian forms with the blade in the crook of the arm instead of with the flat of the blade against the point of the elbow?
