IMHO: Che guy's look a bit handy.

As one of the guys in the trailer who was on the receiving end of the Che style demos, was v impressed with their ability to apply the art, not just speed and power but the ability to link up attacks and combine striking, kicks and takedowns!

@Wayne, Zhang Yunlong (the teacher you posted) is undoubtedly very good, but he is based in Anhui (Fuyang city). Think Will's xinyi liuhe visits were more concentrated in Henan area, don't think he had time to do a trip to Anhui just to visit Zhang.

In ‘Long Huu er qi’ (dragon and tiger) the Dragon is the vertebrae of our spine, while tiger is our Dantian. They need to work in harmony. He’s showing the ‘Fan Lang Li’ (reversing wave power).

Can’t see the vids, is Zhang Yunlong XYLHQ or Xingyiquan ? .....I’ll guess XYLHQ but can’t be sure.

We've now gone west to the town of Taigu in Shanxi province to discover the roots of Xingyi Quan. In today's episode we attend a gathering of a group of masters and practitioners of Che Style Xingyi in an abandoned factory a short drive out of town.
In this series, I team up with Paul Andrews of Xingyi Academy and Jon Nicklin to travel to Tianjin, Shanxi and Henan to explore the various styles of the art of Xingyi Quan. We will cover the Hebei Style of Li Cun Yi, Song and Che Family Xingyi in Taigu, Dai Style Xinyi in Qi County and Muslim Xinyi Liuhe in Henan Province:

Che guys looking handy, speaks volumes when you've got several guys with different skills.

Annoyingly, when friendly sparring, as in the demo above, when one is struck dead center at the core, Wu de suggests you realize you did nothing t defend and yeild respectfully.

Love these cma exchanges. They want you to attack but not really..... oh wait DEFEND yourself. No attacking. Just keep letting me try to hit you...

Nice to see them showing applications and not just forms.
The Che guys look a bit average compared to the big guy in Tianjin. You wouldn't be getting back up if hit by him!

@YinYangFish, Hao Xiqing (the teacher with a shaven head demonstrating the apps on Paul) was being 'nice' for the camera - later on at dinner he showed some more freestyle usage, his ability to show xingyi's shocking power is first class, has the ability to instantly uproot the opponent, Hao and M Zhang in Tianjin were at a similar level.
