Here is episode 4 of the Jing Cheng Wushu project. This episode features Baji Quan and Chuo Jiao / Fanzi Quan. All of the featured older generation teachers have passed away already except one, who I was happy to hear was alive and well and still attending events as a guest last month at over 90 years of age! YouTube removed some of the audio due to background music copyright claim, however, the subtitles are there in any case for you all to enjoy.

Thanks for posting Byron - hadn't heard of Mian Zhang Fanzi Quan (Qiao Xiuchuan) before, do you know much about the background / history?

As far as i know, it was the rsult of combining Fanzi Quan with Mian Zhang (duan quan 短拳). Mian Zhang (Duan Quan) is referred to in Qi Jiguang's Ji Xiao XIn Shu.

My Shifu also studied some Chuo Jiao Fan Zi Quan with Wu Binlou (a legendary man himself), but I haven't asked him about Mian Zhang Fanzi in fact.

Yeah, I dont think they care about historical or not though
