* “Fake.”
* “The big guy didn’t offer any resistance.”
* “Let’s see how he would do against a top MMA competitor.”
* “This wouldn’t work against someone bigger and stronger who resists.”

Etc etc etc..

If the 4oz is AGAINST the 1000 ponds, it will surly lose the heavy weight contest.

he kind of started the spinning movement, so he wasn't purely "borrowing". unless we say he was deliberately trying to get the "bull" to get those 1000 lbs moving so there would be something to borrow. in which case, even better job

one might start with what is the original quote

12TH SAYING: FOUR OUNCES MOVES A THOUSAND POUNDS
四兩何能撥千斤。
人皆未之信。
What skill enables you to use four ounces to move a thousand pounds?
People everywhere don’t believe that this is possible.

所謂牽動四兩撥千斤者。
只要用四兩勁牽動千斤。
而後撥之。
The saying “leading (the other’s) movement” (qian dong: “lead” plus “move”) explains how four ounces can move a thousand pounds:
only by using four ounce jin to apply leading to a thousand pounds,
then you can move it.

https://www.rockymountaintaichi.com/zmq-13-13-12

此牽與撥。
是兩事。
非真以四兩撥千斤也。
Leading (qian) and moving (bo)
are two different things.
You can’t just use four ounces to move a thousand pounds (without leading).

按此節。
牽撥二字。
分開解釋。
使能見其妙用。
By making a distinction between
the two words lead and move,
we can explain their separate functions
and perceive their marvelous use.

* “Not internal.”
* “Not whole body or aligned.”
* “No leg skill.”
* “This is sport rules, not a real fight.”
* “Only using athletics, concentric muscles and not relaxed."

Etc etc etc..

:) Well, I don't really want to disillusion you guys, but this is... let's be clear at least half fake.
Hakuho and Enho are from the same house of sumo. They are actual training partners and friends. The match has no real bet at all, so it is just making fun together. It is quite visible that Hakuho didin't want to make point on Enho, and it is also quite clear that he made the fall at the end voluntary. After he was on one leg, he made a roll to make the show. Look at the big smile at his face after the match! :)
It was just fun. Show for the crowd. But it was nice anyway.

Not quite the same weight difference but I like this clip as a good example of of what my shifu would call "small hinge swinging big door"

Eh. Fun demo then.

I doubt anyone here is disillusioned. We’re old and crotchety.

Ors way is one way to look at it
alternatively, teammates from the same training house can have some of the fiercest competition
simply because i have go back and face all my teammates every day.
from the way they are going at it, i for one did not think that it was all that friendly
friendly faces, perhaps

big kudos and respect for the smaller guy:
for staying calm. not at all flustered by the constant head palm check
for some cultures, touching the head is highly insulting
