You could tell them that on entry you're willing to surrender all your training notes from all seminars with all masters over the last ten years. Maybe they'll let you in for free...

My first Kung fu teacher who also taught me acupuncture paid for me to attend a course in advanced oriental therepudics
The only provisos was I had to give him the course notes
I was quite happy as it was an expensive course
When I saw the notes I thought my teacher won't be too pleased
They were the notes from his course

I there some in-joke Im missing here? Did Mizner tell someone off for taking notes somewhere?

I see that most of these gents have good structure manipulation ability. But some of the explanations are far different from what they actually do. Some of it is deceptive and dishonest. If you don’t want people to learn from you, why teach?

It comes across to me as more about profiting from the "wow factor" of participants than really about imparting skills. Build up a Guru complex and have people to pay to "see for themself if its real".

$3000 to train with shady guys with zilch in combined fight record/experience that female MMA fighters could easily beat up. No thanks.
