The biggest problem with demo today is they just punch with hands only.

My thoughts exactly
The person in the first clip looked like they had learnt the form at one stage but not practiced it for a while
Don't put power into the form let it naturally arise from the form

From my collection:-

Many thanks for the info, very informative and much appreciated.

Do we know if Lu Hong Ba Shi is part of the Liu He Ba Fa 66 form as moves seem very similar within the form.

If so doesn’t that date the history of Liu He Ba Fa

Would be very interested in any history of the Wu Yihui Liu he Ba Fa system.

Liu Hong Ba Shi/Mother, and Sons Eight Linked Palms is a separate style that was integrated/adopted into the LHBF curriculum by Master Wu. From my understanding it was refined to reflect what was being taught in LHBF, and also simplified into a fast fighting form that can be used immediately while learning the rest of the curriculum.
