Several of his Bagua, Taiji, Xingyi students have been winning medals in full contact Sanda and Kickboxing tournaments around the world these past few years.

In this documentary series, he goes into some detail on the finer points of internal power generation and fighting using a neijia mindset.

In this video, Shifu talks about using traditional kungfu methods in the ring. He also discusses old masters who are or aren't exposed to modern sport fighting.

In the last bit of the video, we see some footage from one of his students' fights in the pro Kickboxing circuit. (It honestly doesn't look like a very high level competition but it's still interesting.)
