A beautiful park, with an interesting assortment of people and practices. Thank you for sharing. :)

Lovely video Byron, cool backing tune too. Haven't been to Ritan before, will have to visit on next trip.

Is the bagua shown at around 5 mins Cheng style? Also do you know who the main teacher of the shuai jiao group at around 11 mins is?

Glad you liked it. Yes, they are Cheng stylists apparently off Sun Zhijun's line. Nice to see youngsters doing it a bit.

Regarding the shuai Jiao, I'll have to go visit them again, I forgot the teachers name unfortunately, but I recall him being Hui.

Nice video - why are the shuai jiao guys throwing on a dummy when there are warm bodies around? Is it a COVID thing?

Cool parks and awesome to see so many practitioners doing their thing.
Of course they wouldn't last five minutes in the BALTIMORE LEI TAI!

I would believe that this is one of the most well known parks in Beijing. Every tourist who buys a one week tour visit Tiantan and take a stroll through the Ritan park. But the training takes place mostly in the mornings and not when the tourists arrive. Working in the travel industry I’ve been here many times.

I think they do both, just on that particular day they were killing the dummy more
