He has conducted decades of research in the villages of Shandong on the arts and continues to research, practice and teach today.

Another very nice interview Byron. Much respect to Ilya for firstly training with such dedication but also for doing so much fieldwork into different branches of mantis in Shandong, can only think of a handful of people who have taken their research to this kind of level!
