Haven’t seen that clip before. I liked it. He seems very playful and relaxed. Just like he enjoys having a good time. Thank you for sharing. :)

Another way of looking at it...one that you would feel if there.

His movements were based on the others "intention" making his movement always ahead of the physical
movements of their body....

At no time is their more then 4oz, acting on his body,,,at this level of interaction...

People laughed as they fell into emptiness

汪永泉授楊式太極拳語錄及拳照
Wang Yongquan Writings on Yang Style Tai Chi Chuan
Translated by Richard Man,
http://facebook.com/groups/IMA.LiteraryTradition

練拳到了高級階段,棚、捋、擠、按皆非似,無形無象,全身透空。
At the highest level of martial arts, there is no longer Peng, Tsai, Ji, An. Shapeless and Formless, the whole body is as if empty and porous.

1. 練太極拳的第一個要求是,上下相隨,動無一處不動
One. The first requirement in learning Tai Chi Chuan is to coordinate (harmonize) the upper and lower (of your body). When you move, every part moves.

If you watch his movement, there is very little to no loading as he throws the other person.
The other person is reacting for the most part, to the center being moved .
The movements continued after contact an attempt to recover balance.

In our practice this what is meant by one part moves, every part move…

It was fun, ;)

although at times frustrating, as his method of teaching was to allow one to feel "it" and then he would guide one in the process
of understanding the what and how,,through practice.

He didn't talk much,, :P

at 82 yrs old, Master Zhang, demonstrating his neutralization skill against hard power

In China, by those there everything was tested,,,,although not publicly.

Visitors sometimes, stopped by our practice place.

In this case the guy in blue practiced Yiquan.
He wanted to test his skill seeing if MZ could neutralize it.

It looks easy, those there had a chance to try to see if they could do it… ;D

In the last part of the clip, one of the people put his hand between the Yiquans
guy’s push and MZ chest

He didn’t feel any compression of his hand as the Yiquan guy pushed against MZ chest.

视频中人是北影的祝天运,练意拳是姚宗勋的弟子,功力很足。

The person in blue in the video practiced Yiquan.
he had skill.

Master Zhang, was known in Beijing, preferred to keep a low profile.
He received visits from many known, skilled CMA practitioners or their students
wanting to test skill sets.

Some from RSF also visited over the yrs....
During that time I had asked them not to mention it on the net, respecting MZ wishes to remain unknown.
Something no longer needed, should they feel like sharing their interactions with him. :)
