Well, it's unfortunate that he's a Prince Andrew lookalike, which doesn't help, but if you managed to get through 27 minutes of him acting like a half-baked guru whacked out on whiskey and cigars, and saying essentially nothing, over and over, then you are either a bear of very little brain, or I think you deserve a medal.

The primary thing to keep in mind is that both Adam Mizner, and Damo Mitchell, received their foundation training from Mark Rasmus. Full stop.

Damo had some Taoist lineage stuff via his father, so he has a bit more of a traditional background than Mizner.

They both applied the Hermetics model to the Asian arts and back engineered the process.

Both of them have received additional training after the fact from others. But the Hermetics model allowed them to exploit it.

That is not to say Adam Mizner lacks skill at tai chi. Just as in most of the better tai chi players his martial training was in a hard style Chinese martial art before he took up tai chi.

Neither one of them got to where they are via the Asian models directly.

AFA their business practices, and personal behavior, are concerned there are any number of reasons why people should look elsewhere for this kind of training.

for business, I'm not in the MA biz. tend to look at other role models in broader areas of business that are well followed ( speaking of which, Musk running Twitter sure ain't it, though. maybe lots of great lessons of what not to do there).

I've never really understood the point of mixing hermetics into the pot. I understand that some of it seem compatible with Chinese philosophy, but if you already have what you need, you are just unnecessarily complicating things further.
... I guess "Hermetics" sounds good?

I challenge you to find someone with skill someplace other than your bathroom mirror.

I am responding to what is presented here rather than giving my top ten
When I have seen something good on here I have always acknowledged it
I criticise myself on a daily basis
That is what all my training is based on
Throughout my entire training life I have sought out the best I could find and drilled what they have taught me
I live in a different world to the podcast training devotees
I don’t seek out either of these two to watch because the road I saw them walking down many years ago
However I won’t be restricted in commenting on what is presented here because you think my ego is my guiding star
I wish everyone had the good luck to train with the teachers I did
Or even better to train with those of higher skill than I have seen
If I am wrong don’t worry there are plenty out there willing to send you down a false path while trying to dupe you into paying for their whisky and cigar fueld Tao
I have yet to see anyone who teaches Hermetics as part of their art that has anything to offer
