Looking forward to uploading a clip a week with some explanation, hopefully.

Hi, have you thought about trying to move the hips a bit less in order to activate the lower abdomen more? And well done for posting a clip of your training!

Hey, thanks for the follow. I'll be sure to work on making the presentation more professional and stuff :-)

There are different ways of involving the lower abdomen in generating force. What I showed in the clip is the quickest way to get it from A to B, since it doesn't rely on throwing one's weight around at all.

But it's a nice topic for another video :-)

That's something I have never seen before. Is it part of some system or art?

It's something Origami_itto once mentioned on here.

1) Twisting the hips against the shoulders to generate force
2) moving the hips with the shoulders
3) tucking / untucking of tailbone
4) forms of wave movement to pull force up from the ground to point of contact

But all in all, it's still all using Li, not Qi.

Thanks for posting
I think Origami practices Taiji

If that is true
Then, the biggest thing is what your hip movements are doing to your knees
Your hip movements are taking your knees out of alignment

Also better use of your waist could help your punch

You need to punch something. What you are doing is cutting your power down
