Basically what you're looking at, listening to, or saying can affect the flexibility in your hip flexor/psoas.

My understanding is that Postural Restoration (what this guys practices) is not something scientifically proven, so yes, characterizing his claims as “wild” is fair :)

On a related note, why everyone seems obsessed with the psoas release nowadays? If anything, learning how to tense it properly is key to understanding how the leg torque is transmitted to the upper body.

Me, personally, I'm interested in modulating the tension consciously. What's interesting to me here is the bidirectional influence of body and mind.

That's exactly what Tai Chi is designed to do. Relax body and breathe, empty your mind, and put your consciousness in the area you want to relax.
