I'm going to have to put another video together to show you the moon.

What a terrible threat. Please don't show us your moon.

Until Wayne shows it I have no clue what he is talking about. I'd like to see people doing the taking hits one too. And thanks for at least putting a clip up.

Rob I have been supportive of most things you have put up
I just think you miss the point here
By your own words you show it saying you can only understand if I do a clip
Grahame childish as usual trying to get others to fight your fight
I had some hope for you when you took up BJJ
seeing your last clip even that is beyond you
So just keep up making your snide cracks that is your strength
As I have said before I don’t write for those doing the clips just for the silent readers here who may want another perspective
Don't put power into the form let it naturally arise from the form

Just one point I didn’t address
Stances are a training device much like running or weight training
In combat stances should become inviseble but still there
Even running the hundred meters is full of stances
Don't put power into the form let it naturally arise from the form

100, Very well explained. 8-)

Practicing stances is fundamental to building a foundation. It will teach you how to sink, how to stabilize your whole structure and how to bring strength from the ground. But as you say, in combat they are invisible. But they are still there.

About 25 yrs ago I had a Bagua teacher, he wasn't very good though. I was very disappointed one time when he should show his stability and let students push at him. But he sank down in a broad evident stance. I thought it was just ridiculous that his students were amazed, because I could already do it much better than him just by standing natural without any apparent stance. I could sink deep and stabilize myself in a narrow, completely natural looking stance.

Anyone that doesn't understand how stances should work or the importance of stance training does not do IMA.

Oh god you're all so sure of yourselves its painful to read.

'does not do IMA' ' seeing your last clip even that is beyond you'

But all you do is hide behind your keyboards. It's a bad joke.

I'm all about getting the ideas flowing and exchanging.

Taking the hits is an entirely different aspect of conditioning, IMHO. I'll see if my wife feels up to whackin me with something lol.

Wayne - fair enough, but why not just show us?

Bao - a lot of deflection and strawman there, sounds like you're trying to convince yourself, not us. But the point remains - show us you using your IMA to do the same.

OI - thanks, look forward to seeing it

ROFLMAO! ;D

All you can come up with are lousy, petty attempts to provoke and then you ask me to make a video for you? :D

You need to come up with something better if you want to be taken seriously.

Yes, I can see why you and Barlow get along so well. You both get sour and grumpy if someone even slighly disagrees with you. A real British attitude I guess. :P

Here is one for you as well, my treat!
